Planned. Bamini and the other legacy Tamil fonts use a different script with different reordering rules, so this needs its own engine work, not just a new table.
There is deliberately no converter on this page yet. A converter that returns wrong Hindi is worse than one that is honest about not being ready, because you would have no way of knowing which letters it got wrong.

Planned, not started
Bamini is the Tamil equivalent of Kruti Dev: the legacy font that a great deal of older Tamil typing was done in, still sitting inside documents that now need to go into Unicode systems.
Tamil script works differently from Devanagari. It has its own vowel-sign behaviour and its own rules about which signs move where, so this needs its own engine work rather than a new lookup table. The route is scaffolded. It will be built only after a keyword check and a mapping tested against real Tamil documents.
